Remote Travel Agent

Sun Day Travel is seeking highly motivated and self-driven individuals who have excellent customer service skills and have interest in travel.
The Travel industry is rapidly picking up and as a travel agent, you will follow up on leads and requests. You will speak to clients about their desired trip and create an trip itinerary from start to finish that could include any aspect of travel. (Flight, rental car, shuttles, hotel, all-inclusive resorts, theme parks, travel packages, cruises, sporting events and more.) You will communicate with the client by phone and email regarding their trip and include any requirements for their destination. You will also follow up after the client’s trip to make sure everything went as expected.
Qualifications:
Professional communication (written and verbal)
Proficient English
Problem solving skills
Ability to work alone and as a team
Self-starter
Detail oriented
Strong Integrity- ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
Ability to work under pressure
Follow instructions
Responsibilities:
Complete web-based certification training.
Participate in live trainings, also web-based.
Communicate with clients via phone and email.
Create quotes based on clients requests.
Take secure payments.
Research what documentation, testing, or vaccination required for their destination.
Communicate details to clients prior to trip.
Problem solving issues that may happen while the client is on a trip.
Follow up with clients after their trip.
Requirements:
Must have eagerness to learn.
Must have a computer or smartphone with reliable internet access.
Must live and be able to legally work in the United States.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Travel experience is not required, but is a plus!
