Electrical Design Engineer

at Jobisite in Texas

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
2+ years of experience in Distribution Transformer Design/Engineering required.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for new transformer design up until complete production.
Review of the specifications, creation of the program's schedule and reports, evaluation of the mechanical designs, customer submittal materials, pre-production builds, and production transfers
In charge of providing technical assistance for active transformers throughout the production process
Perform a range of engineering duties, including designing, creating, creating electrical and mechanical drawings, providing technical support, and helping with testing.
Design liquid-filled distribution-type transformers by interpreting electrical and engineering requirements.
Plan and carry out particular transformer design procedures by performing optimized calculations and computations.
Engage customers in conversation to fix technical problems.
providing assistance to the sales and marketing team with transformer designs for pricing
Revisions to the concept should be coordinated with Production.
