Full-time Senior Educational Accessibility Specialist

at Wichita State University in Kansas

Out of the box, unique, walks to the beat of their own drum. Some may jest about these qualities, but this is exactly the type of person we need in this role!

If you lean towards being reserved, like to plug away at daily tasks witnessing the list shrink as things are accomplished & have a unique approach to situations, you’re someone we desire. You should be confident to meet deadlines, facilitate conversations with faculty related to their lessons, & work for students who have hurdles but deserve the same learning experience as everyone else. Challenges are something you are used to & using strategy to find solutions allows you to test your imaginative approaches. Juggling multiple aspects in those strategies is important to success & that is the same for our students requesting assistance. You find solace in being able to zone in & tackle things you want to, which means you are focused & self-reliant more than social. If you have the skills & this sounds like we’re talking about you, we must have seen you in a dream & are waiting for you to apply.
