Mainly perform tax return reviews and bookkeeping
Assist with the preparation of open items for client to resolve and then a second review to finalize the return
Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports
Identify and fix issues in clients' accounts
Provide tax guidance to clients regarding different transactions
Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits
Offer support and guidance during audits
Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden
Manage a list of projects to make sure client reconciliations are completed in a timely manner
Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes
Perform additional tasks or projects assigned
3-5 years working experience with tax preparation and tax return review is required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Proficiency in Lacerte tax software and Quickbooks Online is a must
Knowledge in US Taxation laws and principles
Familiar with Form 1040s, Form 1065s and Form 1120-S tax returns
In-depth understanding of business accounting procedures
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
Deadline-oriented and ability to stick to time constraints
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Clear and concise communicator with effective verbal communication
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Excellent understanding of the client's businesses and needs
Strong sense of commitment to the organization's goals and values
Willing to work on-site in Quezon City with provided transportation allowance
