Hiring: Senior CDN Engineer

Work Location: Woonsocket, RI
Employment Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced CDN Engineer to design, optimize, and support enterprise-scale content delivery solutions. This role requires strong expertise in CDN platforms, automation, networking, and performance optimization.

Key Skills Required:

Experience with CDN platforms such as Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, Imperva, AWS CloudFront
Strong scripting skills (Python, Go, Node.js, or Java)
Experience with automation frameworks (Terraform, GitOps)
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, Akamai TrafficPeak)
Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, TLS, WAF, load balancing)
Experience with REST APIs, Postman, and caching strategies

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, optimize, and maintain CDN solutions for performance and reliability
Build automation frameworks to manage CDN configurations
Implement caching, routing, DNS, and security configurations
Monitor system performance and create dashboards and alerts
Troubleshoot issues, perform incident resolution, and conduct root cause analysis
Support on-call operations and handle late-night CDN releases
Collaborate with developers, network, and security teams for seamless integration
Provide architecture recommendations and deployment strategies for enterprise applications

Additional Details:

Flexibility required for late-night release schedules
Experience with AWS/GCP and distributed environments preferred
Strong focus on performance optimization, security, and scalability
