Creative Dining Services has retained Management Business Solutions to be a value-add partner in their recruitment for the Executive Chef position. As a solution-based staffing organization; we have aligned our processes to mirror Creative Dining Services’ talent strategies to identify, screen, and recruit qualified candidates.



SUMMARY: As the culinary expert, the Executive Chef works within the Dining Services Department to ensure high-quality, properly seasoned, nutritious foods are being provided throughout the operation. The Executive Chef is part of the Dining Services Management team that works professionally together to make sure the needs of the customer, client, staff, and colleagues are met.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



Standardizes the production of menus and recipes to ensure quality is offered at all times; communicates with the Creative Dining Services Home Office regarding changes to production recipes and menus as necessary.
Supervises and coordinates culinary activities in all operations.
Makes food purchases and controls inventory in a fiscally responsible manner.
Establishes food quality standards; participates in Food Committee meetings.
Participates in hiring, training, scheduling, timekeeping, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions of kitchen staff.


QUALIFICATIONS:



Culinary Arts degree OR a minimum of five years of cooking experience.
ServSafe certification, preferred.
Management experience, preferred.
Membership to the American Culinary Federation, preferred.
